PG Suggested 4

Rule #14-- Believe in your child even when you don't believe your child.
This includes lying, tellin you part of the story, etc...

Rule #15-- Laugh with, but not at your child.
Your first priority is your kids and making fun of them can mess with there feeling of security in the home.

Rule #16-- Apologize when you're wrong.
This is a good rule to follow for life not just with your kids.  Allowing your kids to know that you made a mistake will help them to feel that mistakes are OK.

Rule #17-- Keep your sense of humor.
This is especially true when your kids have just finished embarrassing you, but parenting has its ups and downs-> so you will need a sense of humor to get through some of the hard times.
