September Goals

So here are my August Goals.  I will be honest with you, it was a mediocre month in doing what I needed to do.  Here is the recap 

1.) Time with God.  I want to do a daily time of reading my bible, prayer, and listening to God. –> I did medium at this.  I wouldn’t say that it was a daily time but it was many (over half of the month). 

2.) Work on continuing to respect my husband. –> I believe I did OK at this, however it will probably show up on my list in the future as I can always grow in this area.

3.) Keep up with my running plan and do some x-training as well. –> I rocked half of this and failed on the other half.  My running plan changed 2 weeks into the month from an improve your 5K to a First Half program.  I made each and everyone of the runs on the new program.  The part that I failed on was x-training- big fat 0 or might as well should have been.  I did one Pilates DVD and 3 days worth of my core challenge.

4.) Start clean eating (as well as learn more in some areas). –> I might be able to say a baby step was taken here.  I am nowhere near where I want to be.

5.) Catch-up/ Keep-up with my chores around the house –> Welcome to another always goal.  I did catch-up a few times but I am not done.

6.) Write one blog post a week.  Here are the topics I gave a few weeks ago as subjects per day of the week. –> Semi success. I didn’t write every week but I did end up with at least 1-2 posts a week. I do intend to change some of my daily topics.

Saturday/ Sunday: Nothing specific is planned.

Ok, looking realistically at my goals, I think most of them are attainable.  I will be honest though, the first one to fail will probably be chores or the blog.  The rest I think are either life long goals or truly attainable in my one month.

 

September,

1.) Time with God.  I want to do a daily time of reading my bible, prayer, and listening to God. (Specifically take time to listen).

2.) Work on continuing to respect my husband.

3.) Keep up with my running plan and do some x-training as well. (Find my x-training plan and START!)

4.) Start clean eating (as well as learn more in some areas).

5.) Catch-up/ Keep-up with my chores around the house. (Start a family 15 minute pick-up each day.)

6.) Write one blog post a week.  Here are the topics I gave a few weeks ago as subjects per day of the week.

Tuesday: Mommas News- will include book reviews, decorating and any other topic momma is into.

Saturday/ Sunday: Nothing specific is planned.

  1. Love your first goal, that is a goal of mine too. Some more goals of mine are, smiling at my kids more, no yelling, 10000 steps a day, keeping up with house work, and sticking to our schedule.
