Wk 2: T 2 Green Square

Last (almost 2 ago) week KPie and I worked on the letter T, the number 2, the color green and the shape square.  I didn’t get lots of photos taken but we did get a lot accomplished. (Last week we were sick and didn’t get much done including posting this from the week before).

Here we are working on our Totally Tots is for Tractor.  She always enjoys finding out what her letter is going to become when she is done coloring.

We also worked on squares and so we made a square alien or square man, however you want to look at it.  To be honest, we actually ended up making a square family but I just didn’t get a picture of the other two people that she made.  This was by far a favorite of hers this week and she asked to make many more throughout the week.

For the letter T, we focused on trains as our main letter activity.  Here we are working on our numbers 1-3 again.  She is really improving on her recognition of these numbers and I am really enjoying seeing this growth.

These are working on our vocabulary cards from the 1+1+1=1 Raising Rock Stars preschool curriculum.  She did really good with the cards this week and had them down really well.  We played a few games: including 3 card memory (I only used 3 cards at a time and she tried to remember where they were), sorted them (by animal and different types), and as always the cards attacked mom (a definite favorite of hers).

This was our special letter puzzle.  She always enjoys these puzzles that I put together for her.  This week she made a turtle.  She really only made one mistake on it, she switched the front and back feet which was a non-mistake in my mind.

Here we are working on the PowerPoint T lesson from the members only page.  She loved the story about the turtles and we read the book and did the PowerPoint story every single day.
